Donald W. Price is an attorney licensed to practice law in Louisiana (since 1989), and is admitted to practice in all Federal Courts in Louisiana, and before the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
Donald grew up in Hammond, Louisiana. Donald served as Senior Editor of the Louisiana Law Review and published two Law Review articles prior to graduating from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 1989 as a member of the Order of the Coif.
Donald began his association with the firm as a law clerk during law school, and continued with the firm as a lawyer after serving as a judicial law clerk for then Justice James Dennis of the Louisiana Supreme Court.
Donald is President of the Louisiana Association for Justice (formerly the Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association) and regularly testifies before the Louisiana Legislature on issues affecting personal injury victims. Donald is a Past President of a local Kiwanis Club. He is also a Life Member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and has been selected for inclusion in Louisiana Super Lawyers-Personal Injury Plaintiff (2007-2009).
In addition to his trial practice handling all types of litigation on behalf of plaintiffs, Donald heads up the firm's Appellate Section and represents numerous land owners in oil and gas field contamination cases. Donald's legal writing ability is well-known in the legal community and he is often retained by other attorneys to handle appeals of personal injury jury verdicts or judgments and of other complicated legal issues affecting personal injury litigation. Donald's appellate efforts on behalf of personal injury victims have been so successful over the years that the Louisiana Legislature and the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI) have intervened more than once to protect businesses from the victim-friendly laws that Donald's efforts have helped formulate.
