B. Scott Andrews

Scott Andrews has personally handled multiple multi-million dollary injury cases for seriously injured accident victims.  Scott has also been selected for inclusion in Louisiana Super Lawyer-Personal Injury Plaintiff (2012-2014), and enjoys a prestigious AV peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell.  Scott has also been selected for membership in The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers and The National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40.  Scott was a 2011 Baton Rouge Business Report Forty Under 40 honoree and is Secretary of the Northwestern State University Foundation, an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Southern University Law Center, and is a former President of the Wex Malone American Inn of Court. 

Scott Andrews is licensed to practice law in Louisiana (since 1996) and Texas (since 2006), and is admitted to practice in all Federal Courts in Louisiana, and before the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.  At Southern University Law Center, Scott teaches Advanced Louisiana Torts, Insurance Law, and Products Liability .

Scott Andrews hails from Jonesboro Hodge, Louisiana. After graduating with honors from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana in 1992, where he served as Student Government Association President, Scott worked as a PPO Contract Negotiator for the State of Louisiana Office of Group Benefits for one year prior to entering law school at the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center.

Scott Andrews is a Member of the Louisiana Law Review and published one article prior to graduating in 1996 as a member of the Order of the Coif, Phi Kappa Phi, and the LSU Law Center Hall of Fame. 

Scott Andrews began his association with the Due' law firm as a law clerk during law school and continued after law school. Scott handles all types of serious personal injury and wrongful death cases, but he focuses his practice primarily on motorcycle accidents , 18-wheeler accidents , medical malpractice , and products liability .  Scott has handled a significant number of cases involving spinal cord injuries resulting in quadriplegia and paraplegia , and involving brain damage , amputation , and burn injuries .

While the firm's office is located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Scott Andrews handles  serious personal injury and wrongful death cases throughout Louisiana, with the highest concentration of injury and death cases being handled in the greater Baton Rouge and Monroe, Louisiana areas.

Scott was a member of the Baton Rouge Rotary Club (Classification: Admiralty) for several years and served on the Small Law Firm Customer Advisory Board for Thomson West. Scott Andrews currently serves on the Board of Directors and as Secretary of the Northwestern State University Foundation and is a member of the NSU President's Council, the executive committee (Past-President) of the Wex Malone American Inn of Court, and as a member of the House of Delegates-19th JDC-of the Louisiana State Bar Association (LSBA). Scott also serves as an elected member of the LSBA's Legislation Committee, and was a member of the LSBA Ad Hoc Legislation Advisory Committee. Scott is a member of the Louisiana Bar Foundation's Class of 2008.
