After graduating with honors from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana, where he served as Student Government Association President and as an officer in Kappa Alpha Order, Scott worked as a PPO Contract Negotiator for the State of Louisiana Office of Group Benefits for one year prior to entering law school at the Louisiana State University Paul M. Scott is currently serving as lead counsel for the Plaintiffs' Steering Committee for the Amitech Class Action Litigation pending in the 19th Judicial District Court for the Parish of East Baton Rouge, and which involves the unauthorized release of styrene into the surrounding community by the former Amitech facility in Zachary, Louisiana. While the firm's office is located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Scott handles cases throughout Louisiana, with the highest concentration of cases being handled in the greater Baton Rouge and Monroe, Louisiana areas.

Scott was a member of the Baton Rouge Rotary Club (Classification: Admiralty) for several years and served on the Small Law Firm Customer Advisory Board for Thomson West.
