Dué, Price, Guidry, Piedrahita & Andrews is an association of trial attorneys representing individuals or their families in complex and high stakes personal injury, wrongful death and admiralty, maritime and offshore injury and death cases. Our firm is frequently referred to as “the lawyer’s lawyers” because we receive approximately one-half of our business from other attorneys who recognize our ability and associate us in their cases. Our firm also represents individuals who contact us directly. While our firm has worked on many large cases, such as the landmark "leyoub, ex rel. Louisiana v. American Tobacco Company lawsuit", in which $4.6 billion was obtained for the State of Louisiana from tobacco companies, our focus is primarily on individuals and their families. Members of our firm receive many honors from fellow attorneys and rating services. We are listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers and we receive the highest possible ability and ethical ratings annually from the Martindale-Hubbell lawyer rating service. Members of our firm have been profiled and received national attention for their efforts in Best Lawyers in America-Personal Injury Litigation, Maritime Law and Products Liability, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, and The National Law Journal, as well as various local papers. Firm members have also published scholarly law articles in the Louisiana Law Review, Insurance Counsel Journal, the Louisiana Bar Journal, The Maritime Lawyer and Trial Magazine. Our firm has over one hundred combined years of experience in the practice of personal injury, wrongful death and admiralty, maritime and offshore cases, and our members have served as law clerks to the Louisiana Supreme Court, the Louisiana First Circuit Court of Appeal and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. All of our members received the highest academic honors awardable in law school and many served as editors of the Louisiana Law Review. |
